I've loaded a LOT now for the 7mm-08. Great cartridge and easy to load for, especially from a Tikka. IMR 4350 will work very well. Use the 4895 for 120 grainers. Varget and 120's are classic whitetail fodder. Big Game works well with 120's too. May 19, 2014 · Nosler's website lists 7mm-08 with RL19. Best thing to do is to work up for YOUR gun. RL19 tends to be a pretty fluffy powder so expect compressed loads. If it were me, based on BC of bullets I would go with 160-175 grain bullets, leaning toward 160. Not the answer you were looking for I know, sorry. Kenny.
